To produce our industrial metal shelving we use 3 different types of steel, each with a dedicated process depending on the component or product to be made.

Our shelving is made to measure from DD11 steel according to the customer’s specific requirements. Available galvanised or powder-coated.

The steel used to make this safety element is obtained by pressing from coils, because we take into account the highly aesthetic applications for which these parts are intended. After pressing, the Proclip hooks are hot-dip galvanised.
The product is made from flat sheet metal by:
the notching process, which bevels a corner of a given material – in our case metal.
With metal, these operations are carried out using suitable machinery, together with the experience and skill of the operators.
Bending permanently deforms the sheet by flexing it, exploiting the property of metals to have a “neutral fibre” in the middle of the sheet thickness that deforms without stretching or contracting. Final welding follows. The production of industrial shelving is managed by a fully automated process.
Just like a custom-built car! Powder coating is a process that covers metal surfaces with an organic film; Mobilrot applies it not only for decorative purposes but also to protect the material against wear and aggressive agents. The parts are coated with a powder paint based on synthetic resins (for example epoxy powders) that adheres electrostatically, then passed through an oven where the heat first melts and then polymerises the paint, producing an adherent layer. You can choose from the colours of our RAL range.
