The right shelving depends on three things: what you store, how much it weighs and how you handle it. Here is a quick guide to the Mobilrot solutions.
Consider two values: the load capacity of the single shelf and that of the whole bay, i.e. the section between two uprights. Mobilrot modular metal shelving supports up to 250 kg per shelf with omega reinforcements and up to 2,200 kg per bay, depending on the version. For palletised goods or heavier loads, pallet racking and heavy-duty shelving are the right choice.
The depth depends on the goods: 30–40 cm for files and small items, 50–60 cm for boxes and standard containers, 80–100 cm for bulky goods. Standard heights range from 2 to 3 metres; shelves are 820, 970 or 1230 mm long and adjust every 25 mm.
The configuration most requested by our customers is a shelving unit 3 metres long, 60 cm deep and 2 metres high, with 4 shelves.
The galvanised version, in Sendzimir Zn100 galvanised steel, is the standard choice for warehouses and workshops. The painted version has thicker sheet metal, a higher load capacity per bay and can be produced in the colour of your choice.
The modular shelving slots together almost without tools: a rubber mallet is all you need. Cross bracing is included. For larger installations we also offer an installation service.

Yes. The modular shelving is expandable: add-on units with a single frame are attached to a starter unit (2 frames), so the row grows without having to buy everything again.
